The only thing I would be unsure about is the warranty. It is only one year. For me, that would be a nonstarter. I would look for a minimum of 2 years for a mower of this price.

The Warranty
Warranty is something that we should look at when it comes to expensive items like a robotic lawn mower. At the prices we are paying here we would be looking for as much warranty as possible, with an easy to return process. There is nothing worse than trying to return a large item only to find that we have to pay lots of postage as well.
The robot lawn mower is not a cheap run of the mill lawn mower. It is something quite technical so the warranty would need to be as long as is possible, and for us at least a minimum of 2 years for something costing over $1000.
Reliability
We do not want a robot lawn mower that spends more time in the service shop than it does cutting the grass. Reliability should be almost as high as the warranty itself. Make sure you check out what others who have bought the lawn mower you are interested have said about it. That way you can get a good look and feel about the product even without owning it. This is a process that I always go through when buying something that is a work horse and quite expensive.
The Price
We would be looking to pay an average price for the lawnmower. Not the top end of the range and not the bottom end. This would mean looking at REVIEWS from other customers to see which lawn mower they prefer, and hopefully the one we would be interested in would be priced accordingly
Gadgets
We would be looking for a good reliable lawn mower with a solid warranty that also has a few gadgets up its sleeve. Not least the ability to know when it is going to rain and to put itself back in the shelter. Also an anti theft device which makes it useless should someone steal it. A warning device when animals or children are around would also be nice.
